Default High ranks straight pvp builds

Is it possible for a character, namely a N/Me anti warrior with curses/inspiration/and illusion magic, with only the skills you are given when chosing to make a pvp character from a pre-made build, to survive and excel at high tomb of primvel kings levels, despite not having all hte best skills avaliable.

oh ok...this is my build, and i want to know if got really good with this character if i could do well in tomb of primeval kings or HoH without buying other skills:

N/ME

12 illusion

8 inspiration

5 soul reaping

10 + 1 curses

with skills:

enfeeble

conjure phantasm

faintheartedness

ineptitude (elite)

insiduous parasite

energy tap

ether feast

and rez sig

other unlocked skills include

enfeebling blood

defile flesh

suffering

shadow of fear

parasitic bond

mark of pain

ethereal burden

soothing images

and that's it, sorry for the elongated post, it was just easier that way.

I doubt you will get very far.. you've obviously decided to focus on warrior/ranger killing builds. Problem is, most of your hexes will be removed against a decent team.. definitely swap out ether feast for defile flesh or something.

if i were you i'd go unlock some better skills tho

In tombs, no chance, since one Nature's kills you, and you have to assume that spirit will be a factor in your matches.

But also, you're not doing much even without NR...

hey, these ARE the skills they give you, and i do need to work on unlocking some more.

however, would my little anti-ranger/warrior strategy work, if I had the use of some more skills?

and white designes whats NR?

Also, what would be a good second class for a necro focusing on death magic for PvP??

NR=Natures renewal. When its put down all hexes and enchantments go away and while the spirit is still up enchantments take 2x as long to cast.

While playing a necro you should realize you are going to be a supporting role. You NEED the skills putrid explosion and rigor mortis at least. Putrid explosion to stop all wells and Bone fiends from coming up (the extra damage too) and rigor mortis so you can hit people that are standing in wards, affected by aegis or guardian, or whirling defense etc. (to help out your warriors). You might also want chillbains to break up a healing ball especially if you are running with a smite build. Spitefull spirit and mark of pain are awsome in a warrior heavy group too, but take up alot of energy and can be broken with a remove hex or anyone around them having a seed. Blood is Power is also a good skill to unlock to keep your monks healing. If you are in a spirit spam group Ele is a good secondary also because with all the spirits constantly dieing you will have tons of energy due to soul reaping so you could keep up ward against melee and ward against elements easily. If not in a spirit spam group or any specialized group a Mes secondary would be great nothing wrong with more energy denial.
**EDIT** I forgot one of the most important skills on a necro, rend enchantments. This skill is just as important as putrid explosion and rigor mortis and takes very few points in curses to be effective.

Don't bring self heals for Tombs, it wastes a skill slot and your monks should be able to heal you anyways. I would never take two skills that target corpses (unless its animate bone fiends + horrors), and you will never be able to use the animates with the other necros spamming putrid. You may not even get a putrid off because you are too busy deciding on what to do. No bone horror, half your skill bar is gone. You need a rez sig. Energy drain is nice, but deathly swarm is too long of a cast, and if your against a ranger group running winter + frost armor + matra of frost, then your not really doing anything at all except energy draining something once or twice.
